Who We Are
We’re regular guys that like to read books and then nitpick, dissect, rant, and rave about our thoughts. We found that after finishing a particularly good or bad book it was hard to just move on. We always wanted to talk about a funny scene or question how a chapter played out. We don’t claim to be the smartest (Keith can barely read, he listens to audiobooks), and we don’t claim to understand the finer points that a literally scholar may point out, but we’re here to talk books, makes some jokes and have some fun.
What We Do
We pick a book we’re both interested in reading, read through it, then discuss ‘important’ topics on our podcast. Those topics often cover anything from favorite characters to a tangent about the proper way to cook burger meat. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. Below are a few audio clips as examples:
But Why?
Good question, we’re trying to figure that out. But ultimately we got sick of discussing books in the traditional fashion – via English class papers, or the stuffy typical book club. Reading should be fun, and that’s what we’re here for.
