Positive Vibes Only: Harry Mack’s Omegle Freestyling Videos

It’s Monday, full week ahead of us, I’ll be honest, I don’t have a pump up speech or blog to lift spirits. So instead we’re enlisting the help of Harry Mack and his insane freestyle skills. He may already be on your radar, he does have 2.2 million YouTube channel followers, but anything compared to our massive and rabid “Buddy” fan base seems small.

Now I don’t know much about rap or freestyling (or much of anything if we’re being honest). I have partaken in a few freestyle battles and by freestyle I mean drunk at 3 am we would go around a circle incoherently “freestyling”, so I can relate to Harry Mack. My go to is, “yeah, my rhymes are comical, I was with your mom last night and she said it was phenomenal… that’s all I got” and immediately stop. It took me two and a half years to write those lyrics, but I’m still proud of them.

What Harry Mack does in these videos is beyond freestyling, it’s alien. By comparison, here is one of the most talented rappers/singers in the world, Drake, “freestyling” (here is the actual song and the video making fun of him freestyling). What Harry Mack does is like a magic trick. I honestly have no idea how he does it. I can barely string two sentence together (now is probably a good time to plug that we have a podcast!) Harry Mack on the other hand is stringing together multiple sentence, whilst rhyming about completely random words. At this point I’ve probably watched about 20 of these Omegle videos (he has 70 so far) and every time I come away amazed. My favorite thing about Harry Mack, other than his massive talent, and his ability to wow his audiences, is the fact that he seems like a genuinely good guy. He loves what he’s doing and really cares about getting people excited.
